We currently have a great opportunity available for a Director, US Sales - Hemostasis. The Hemostasis Sales Director is responsible for leading and executing the national sales strategy for the hemostasis diagnostics portfolio. This role will oversee a team of Hemostasis Sales Specialists to drive revenue growth and ensure alignment with the company’s broader commercial objectives for the Hemostasis product line. The Director will serve as a cross-functional leader, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and Executive Leadership to optimize market share, expand strategic accounts, and support the advancement of innovative hemostasis solutions across the U.S. market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement the national sales strategy for the hemostasis product line, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, market trends, and customer needs.
2. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team of Hemostasis Sales Specialists.
3. Set and monitor national sales targets, pipeline health, territory performance, and forecast accuracy to drive accountability and revenue achievement.
4. Collaborate with National Accounts, Corporate Accounts, and Regional Sales teams to secure and grow business with IHN’s, GPO’s, and Commercial Reference Laboratories.
5. Cross-Functional collaboration with Marketing, Scientific Affairs, Technical Support, and Training teams to ensure consistent messaging, product positioning, and field readiness.
6. Stay current on competitive landscape, evolving clinical guidelines, and customer trends to inform strategic decisions and product development needs.
7. Manage national sales budgets, resource allocation, and commercial initiatives to maximize ROI and operational efficiency.
8. Foster high-level relationships with KOLs, Laboratory Executives, and Executive stakeholders to reinforce Sysmex’s leadership in Hemostasis diagnostics.
9. Generate reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends. Present findings to senior management and provide strategic insights.
10. Other duties as assigned.
Percentage of Travel: 60%
This job requires satisfaction of the credentialing requirements of Sysmex’s customers, including hospitals and other healthcare facilities, which generally includes proof of current vaccinations for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox), and COVID-19.
The salary range for this role is $170,000-$220,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package for this position also includes a choice of health care plan (medical, vision, and dental insurance), car allowance, paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave and a 401(K) for all eligible employees.
