Sysmex America, Inc. in Lincolnshire, IL seeks a Manager, Finance- Canada, Latam Non IVD Business Development.

• Provides objective Financial governance and ensures corporate control policies are adhered to, partnering with the business to ensure prudent financial management; spearheads and supports projects to drive effectiveness in shared service business processes across the business lines.Canada, Latam, and the business development areas all rely on shared services and the Manager, Finance is an active project promoter and project team member working to drive process effectiveness;
• • works closely with the SVP as finance business partner, developing strategic and operating plans, supporting pricing analysis in the context of market trends, order funnel reporting and analysis, and developing KPIs and dashboards to enable business performance management;
  • works with leadership teams in Canada, Latam Sales, and Business Development to assess the financial business case for programs, sales initiatives, and large tender responses, and other key commercial projects as identified by the SVP and leadership teams;
  • drives business forecasting processes that engage the sales teams in orders forecasting, and the service and installation teams in revenue forecasting. 
• Takes the lead in these responsibilities in Canada, industrial flow cytometry and BD activities, and supports the SVP in Latam forecasting reviews;
  • owns the financial planning and analysis processes for Canada, Latam Sales, & BD projects, including full P&L, capital expenditure, and cash flow and presents same at the Board and Executive meetings; provides timely forecasts, variance analyses, and commentary to SAI-FP&A team in support of consolidated monthly forecasting and performance reporting;
  • develops a deep understanding of the business to provide insightful and actionable KPIs to measure business performance.
• Works collaboratively with the SVP and leadership teams to drive performance optimization actions.

Hybrid work schedule (50% remote & 50% in office).

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other relevant field and 5 years of experience in job offered or related role in financial and business forecasting, reporting and analysis.

Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree. Must have experience with:

(1) Financial and Business Forecasting, Reporting and Analysis;

(2) Business processes, laws, and regulations in Canada and Latin America;

(3) Project Management with familiarity of Canada and Latin America business practices;

(4) Financial analysis of operations, markets, and business performance  in Canada and Latin America.

BENEFITS: The salary range for this role is $147,742.00 - $163,000.00 per year. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package for this position also includes a choice of health care plan (medical, vision, and dental insurance), an annual incentive bonus, paid time off, telecom reimbursement, parental leave, bereavement leave and a 401(K) for all eligible employees.
