Responsibilities

We currently have a great opportunity available for a Sr. Manager, Project SAP. The Sr. Project Manager, SAP applies IT solutions (SAP HAHA or other) to meet the strategic needs of the corporation. The associate will assist in the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP and non-SAP solutions that align with our organization's strategic goals. This role involves defining enterprise-wide architectures, ensuring seamless integration with other systems, and guiding the delivery of scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions. The Sr. Manager, Project SAP will collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business units to assess requirements, develop roadmaps, and oversee the implementation of best practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP technologies, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade solutions in a dynamic environment.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  1. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP projects ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet business requirements.
  2. Lead and coordinate activities across multidisciplinary teams, including business users, IT, and external consultants, to ensure effective project execution and alignment with organizational goals.
  3. Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to understand requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  4. Establish and enforce standards, policies, and best practices for implementations and system operations.
  5. Participate in the design of a multi-year roadmap to guide future system upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
  6. Act as a subject matter expert and mentor for technologies, guiding development teams and resolving complex technical challenges.
  7. Partner with change management teams to ensure smooth transitions for new implementations and upgrades.
  8. As assigned, continuously monitor systems for performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimizations.
  9. Evaluate emerging technologies and solutions, recommending and implementing innovations that add value to the organization.
  10. Collaborate with and other third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery and support of projects and services. Other duties as assigned.

Travel Percentage:  5%

 

The salary range for this role is  $126,000--$198,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package for this position also includes a choice of health care plan (medical, vision, and dental insurance), an annual incentive bonus, paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave and a 401(K) for all eligible employees.

Qualifications

  • BA or BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or MIS degree desired. 15 years of professional IT/business experience desired. 7+ years of practical experience in delivering SAP projects. Including, but not limited to, S/4 HANA migrations and implementations.
  • SAP S/4 HANA and SAP SuccessFactors
  • Highly influential and able to set the direction of the project.
  • Depth of IT/business knowledge across the IT/services lifecycle and value chain.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA required
  • Ability to apply industry-leading knowledge in creating enterprise architectures and leading the adoption of value-creating solutions.
  • Team player with ability to effectively collaborate in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to manage assigned engagement portfolio, providing thought leadership in finding the right enterprise architect solutions for customers, and effectively managing customer relationships, risk and quality across the portfolio.
